At Acadian Vision Associates, caring begins with a thorough eye health examination. Your exam includes a visual assessment and eyeglass prescription (if necessary), external health assessment, eye pressure check, and internal health assessment with dilation.
CONTACT LENS FITTING
Successful contact lens wear begins with an in-depth fitting by the doctor. We will determine the best lens for you based on several factors. Once a lens is chosen, you will be thoroughly trained in the proper insertion, removal, and care of your contact lenses. The fitting process is usually finalized within two sessions, but sometimes may require multiple visits to our office.
This no-cost, national public health program was developed to provide professional eye care for infants under the age of 12 months. Spearheaded by former president Jimmy Carter, InfantSEE is designed to detect any abnormalities within an infants visual system before it’s too late.
